Breaking Bad Habits Day 7: Sunday Selah
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33, ESV)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15, ESV)
As we made our way through this study about breaking bad habits, we can appreciate everything the Lord has blessed us with in our lives. Yes, we face different temptations daily, but we serve a Lord who has been tempted just like we are, except He did not sin. It is because of His sinlessness that He was able to purchase the pardon of salvation at Calvary.
Lord, as we work to break bad habits, we would pray for Your guidance and help, seeking to become more Christlike every day, that we might bring honor and glory to Your name.
