Interactive Devotion for Couples Day 6: Summing up the Study
This week, our focus has been on relationships and the importance of investing in our marriages—specifically yours. The takeaway here for each of you is the call to continue discussing things with one another that pertain to your own marriage. Keep communicating and share your hearts.
Some short points to ponder:
~Are you praying together each day? If not, how can you make it happen?
~How can you incorporate more non-sexual touch into your relationship? What do you prefer most (holding hands, hugs, kissing…)?
~What walls are you going to work to remove? Even for those married many years, there are often areas that are never discussed—be willing to change that.
~What would others (especially your children) say about how well you love your husband or wife?
~Are you prepared for a storm? While we are usually shaken by the suddenness of them, what plans do you have in place for taking action for victory rather than defeat?
Then the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” (Genesis 2:18, ESV)
