O Come, Let Us Adore Him – Advent Day 4 – Sunday Adoration
Through this Advent study, we will pause again each Lord’s Day to simply ADORE HIM, not just for the promises given but for those promises fulfilled!
For unto you is born this day … a Savior, who is Christ the Lord! (Luke 2:11, ESV)
Select lyrics from Francesca Battistelli’s “Behold Him”
Born to seek and born to save
Born to take our pain away
God with us, Emmanuel
In His arms all will be well
Come let us adore
Christ our Savior, behold Him
Feel the thrill of hope
You are not alone
In this moment, behold Him
Lift your eyes and behold Him
Christ has come! Our Savior is here! May we lift our eyes and behold Him!
God’s promises fulfilled make our hearts rejoice and grow our confidence in promises yet to be fulfilled. Knowing His Word is true and trustworthy reassures us that He sees all of His promises as already finished—as good as complete, sure and determined.
Christ came. Christ draws near moment by moment. Christ will come again!
Face to face we will behold Him! Let’s lift our eyes now to see Him with eyes of faith, and allow our hearts to swell with worship and adore this One who completed the eternal plan of redemption for us!
For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” … ascends to God for His glory. (2 Corinthians 1:20, NLT)
