(Forsaking Convenient Lies to Follow the Lord)

Day 13- Series in Review
Ashley Waliczek

These past couple of weeks, we have been challenged by Scripture’s call to radically follow Jesus, our Risen Savior. We have asked uncomfortable questions, confronted convenient lies, and faced some hard realities of the life of a believer, particularly in a time when we seem to find ourselves starkly at odds with the culture in which we live. We have considered, specifically, the lies that limit our discipleship, evidence of our tacit acceptance of those lies, Scriptural truth that confronts and corrects those lies, and examples of how we may walk more faithfully

As we review these “lie vs. truth battles” below, let us meditate on the passages we have read together and ask the Lord to show us where our hearts and lives most need to change. I pray that this study has encouraged and challenged us all to walk the walk of a true Christ-follower, for our joy and for God’s glory.
